As of 23 September 2023, this category is closed to new applicants. Anyone already on a Recovery Visa however, can apply for a three-month extension, allowing them time to transition to longer term work visas if necessary. Government announces further tightening of AEWV settings for employers hiring migrant workers
The Government has just announced further changes to the immigration system to increase protection and support for migrant workers. Whilst these initiatives have arisen to help prevent exploitation, they will mean extra obligations and requirements for employers and should not be ignored.
