Recruiting from The Philippines

Leaders in ethical Filipino recruitment since 2015

Working In has an offer that stands alone in New Zealand. Based on 25 years of international employment experience and almost eight years specialising in The Philippines, we offer a safe, ethical, and efficient end-to-end service which includes everything from sourcing the right skilled worker through to assistance with settlement.

We are not a labour hire company. Our model is to help New Zealand employers, like you, find and hire the best possible people for long term employment. This saves you time and overtime cost and also allows you to develop and grow your own people.

From supplying over 200 machine operators on the Transmission Gully to hundreds of finishing carpenters on Auckland’s largest new buildings, we offer New Zealand employers the opportunity to recruit the best skills in a minimal time within an ethical framework.

We have enabled over 3000 Filipino workers to move to New Zealand in the civil and vertical construction and primary industries market. These workers are a natural, hardworking fit for New Zealand work culture.

With Working In you get the skills you need without drama. Simple.

Why The Philippines?

Our clients can’t get enough of their Filipino workers. Experienced, hardworking, loyal, skilled, with a constant willingness to learn – their friendly attitude makes them a natural fit for the New Zealand workforce.

Most of our workers have a minimum of five years’ experience in their field and two years’ international work experience. Working overseas is embedded in the Filipino culture and these workers are known as Overseas Foreign Workers – working overseas is what they do.

In a tight labour market, our Filipino workers form a critical role, giving employers a guaranteed, reliable and stable work force.

Ethical and Transparent

Safe, ethical and efficient, we operate in full accordance with both the New Zealand and Philippines governments. We’ll take care of everything from getting you accredited with the DMW (Department of Migrant Workers, formerly POEA) to ensuring your workers wellbeing in New Zealand. We have one fee that covers every aspect of the process meaning no additional or ongoing costs and no surprises.

English Speaking, trade tested workers

We match workers to your exact needs via our Skill Assessment Centre in Manila. You can be sure of recruiting skilled workers with the right attitude and international experience. Plus, with English as the second official language of the Philippines, there are few language barrier issues.

Visas and Immigration

The largest team of employer-facing Licensed Immigration Advisers in New Zealand, along with our Manila-based agents, manage all visa and immigration aspects for your workers, ensuring a smooth and quick process. Relax knowing everything is taken care of.

Our specialized brand, Pinoy Visas NZ, focuses on assisting Filipino workers in New Zealand. We offer various services to both Filipino workers and organizations hiring them, including workplace wellbeing meetings, immigration updates, and webinars. Our Pinoy Visas NZ team is fluent in Tagalog and can guide your workforce on residency pathways and family reunification in New Zealand.

Here’s what our clients have to say

Fletcher Construction / Higgins

“I’ve been fortunate enough to be in the Philippines this week with my Higgins team mates, alongside our partners Working In. We have interviewed 160 candidates and conducted over 75 assessments – ranging from screeding and raking to compactor, truck, loader, excavator, roller, paver, and grader operation. We’ve met some really talented candidates – our future Higgins colleagues! Thanks for such a well organised trip. What an experience.”

Turner and Growers

“Our Company became involved with Working In in early 2019 as we looked at ways to help us combat the shortfall of professional class 5 drivers in NZ. From the beginning, it felt like we were in a partnership with WIR, not just a client. The team looked after all our needs, providing CV’s, answered many questions and provided us with a solution to our problem. The team left us with no stones unturned right from the outset. I would have no hesitation in recommending Working In to any Employer who wants to recruit overseas with an Ethical Recruitment Company.”

Dominion Constructions LTD

“Right from the outset Working In have been professional and transparent in every step, in particular their in-house visa team has been exceptional, partnering with us to make the process as easy as possible. Each worker is outstanding, and we intend to recruit more as construction demand increases. I can without reservation, endorse Working In to any employer wanting to source overseas labour.”

CPB

“The support of Working In has contributed to the success of our delivery targets – they have quickly become a pivotal supplier to CPB Contractors Pty Ltd in New Zealand. The quality of candidates and their service delivery model, that includes migration assistance and pastoral care, is market leading. Working In operates as a highly ethical and professional organization that consistently exceeds their client’s expectations.”

District Health Board

“We have worked with Working In for the last 3 years on a number of projects, to fill shortages in the healthcare sector. Their knowledge of the market and technical expertise has led to excellent hiring outcomes – with more to come in the future”
