Recruiting from The Philippines
Leaders in ethical Filipino recruitment since 2015
Working In has an offer that stands alone in New Zealand. Based on 25 years of international employment experience and almost eight years specialising in The Philippines, we offer a safe, ethical, and efficient end-to-end service which includes everything from sourcing the right skilled worker through to assistance with settlement.
We are not a labour hire company. Our model is to help New Zealand employers, like you, find and hire the best possible people for long term employment. This saves you time and overtime cost and also allows you to develop and grow your own people.
From supplying over 200 machine operators on the Transmission Gully to hundreds of finishing carpenters on Auckland’s largest new buildings, we offer New Zealand employers the opportunity to recruit the best skills in a minimal time within an ethical framework.
We have enabled over 3000 Filipino workers to move to New Zealand in the civil and vertical construction and primary industries market. These workers are a natural, hardworking fit for New Zealand work culture.
With Working In you get the skills you need without drama. Simple.
Why The Philippines?
Our clients can’t get enough of their Filipino workers. Experienced, hardworking, loyal, skilled, with a constant willingness to learn – their friendly attitude makes them a natural fit for the New Zealand workforce.
Most of our workers have a minimum of five years’ experience in their field and two years’ international work experience. Working overseas is embedded in the Filipino culture and these workers are known as Overseas Foreign Workers – working overseas is what they do.
In a tight labour market, our Filipino workers form a critical role, giving employers a guaranteed, reliable and stable work force.
Ethical and Transparent
Safe, ethical and efficient, we operate in full accordance with both the New Zealand and Philippines governments. We’ll take care of everything from getting you accredited with the DMW (Department of Migrant Workers, formerly POEA) to ensuring your workers wellbeing in New Zealand. We have one fee that covers every aspect of the process meaning no additional or ongoing costs and no surprises.
English Speaking, trade tested workers
We match workers to your exact needs via our Skill Assessment Centre in Manila, and a partnership with the largest English school in the Philippines. You can be sure of recruiting skilled workers with the right attitude, international experience. Plus, with English as the second official language of the Philippines, there are few language barrier issues.
Visas and Immigration
The largest team of employer-facing Licensed Immigration Advisers in New Zealand, along with our Manila-based agents, manage all visa and immigration aspects for your workers, ensuring a smooth and quick process. Relax knowing everything is taken care of.
Our specialized brand, Pinoy Visas NZ, focuses on assisting Filipino workers in New Zealand. We offer various services to both Filipino workers and organizations hiring them, including workplace wellbeing meetings, immigration updates, and webinars. Our Pinoy Visas NZ team is fluent in Tagalog and can guide your workforce on residency pathways and family reunification in New Zealand.
Pre-departure
We understand the importance of a smooth transition for your new employee and having them arrive ready to focus on their job.
Our comprehensive pre-departure services include delivering informative seminars covering all aspects of living and working in New Zealand. We also take care of essential tasks such as arranging insurance, flights, and work certificates.
To ensure workers are prepared for New Zealand roads, we can even arrange a full day New Zealand Road Code Seminar prior to departing The Philippines and an on-arrival driving seminar and assessment conducted by an approved New Zealand Driving Instructor.
Welcome and Settlement
We arrange airport drop-off in Manila and airport pick-up in New Zealand, ensuring a hassle-free arrival for your new team members.
Upon arrival, we provide full induction and orientation that includes organizing bank accounts, obtaining IRD numbers, providing NZ SIM cards and adapters, food vouchers, familiarisation with the local area and community groups, transportation to the worksite, safety seminars, and any other necessary support.
