Clarification around extended accreditation period for Accredited Employers

We have had a few questions around the accreditation extension. To clarify, the extension applies to the accreditation status of an employer, rather than the actual Accredited Employer Work Visas status – held by the employee.

If you are already accredited, your accreditation status will now be extended and valid for 24 months from original date of approval.

Updates to new expiry dates will appear in ‘Immigration Online’ by June 2, 2023.

First time accreditation applications submitted before 4 July 2023, once approved will be valid for 24 months.

Applications made after 4 July 2023 that are approved will be granted for 12 months.
